A strategy workshop where everyone builds
A facilitated strategy day with LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®. You move from abstract intentions to a direction everyone in the room can repeat — and owns.
- A shared picture of the current situation in under two hours
- Risks and disagreements surface while there is still time
- Prioritisation: what we do — and what we stop
- An action plan with an owner and a deadline
The problem with the classic strategy day
The strategy gets presented, everyone nods, and three weeks later nobody can recount it. Not because it is bad — but because nobody helped build it. The last 20% of the room, the people who know the customers and the operation best, said nothing.
When every participant builds their answer first and explains it afterwards, the whole room's knowledge is on the table within the first hour. Disagreements become visible as models rather than as tension — and they can be handled.
How the day runs
Morning — where we are
Build: 'this is what our reality looks like right now'. All models on the table give an honest shared starting point.
Midday — the landscape
Customers, competitors, capabilities and risks are built into one shared model you can walk around.
Afternoon — direction
Simple guiding principles and prioritisation: what we say yes to, and what we say no to.
What you take home
Visual report
Every model photographed with the participants' own explanations and quotes.
Decision log
What was decided, what was parked, and why.
90-day plan
Concrete actions with an owner and a deadline — plus follow-up after 30 and 90 days.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a strategy day take?+
The typical frame is a full day (6–7 hours including breaks). Half a day can be enough for one bounded question — for example prioritising three initiatives. Two days leaves room for the current situation, scenarios and the action plan.
What if we already have a strategy?+
Then that is often the best starting point. We use the day to test it: what it means concretely for each unit, where it is vague, which risks nobody dares say out loud, and what you need to stop doing to succeed.
Do we get something in writing afterwards?+
Yes. You receive a visual report with photographs of the models, participants' own quotes, the recurring themes, and an action plan with an owner and a deadline on every item.
What does it cost?+
It depends on duration, group size and preparation. You always get a fixed written proposal before we start — and an estimate within two working days of your enquiry.
